29 Week Ultrasound Photos

I  keep forgetting to add these from early October.  I'm almost 32 weeks now so this was about 3 weeks ago.  We learned that our slider is quite big for his gestational age.  In fact, the first thing Dr. Murphy said when he popped up was "Oh wow; he's big!"  She said he was about 3 lbs 8 ounces already (my baby book said 2 1/2 lbs was average) and in the 75th percentile for size.  She also noted how active he is, which is funny because they've said that at every single ultrasound we've had.  He didn't stop moving for a second and kept pushing back on the ultrasound wand.  At one point the umbilical chord was covering part of his face (you can see the shadow of it in the top photo) so he spent some time swatting that away and rubbing his face.  Then he gave a quick smile for us before returning to fighting mode.  We're thinking we need to name him after an MMA fighter or boxer now.
