Kauai- Day Three

It's just an Herbalife protein shake but Lils looks like she's drinking her morning coffee.

We took a plantation train ride, hike and picnic today.  We saw this piglet and thought he was as cute as they come...

... until we saw these three adorable piglets who were only a week old!

Lils really held her own on the hike.  She had her walking stick and walked on her own for all but the last 10 minutes of the four hours.

The Big Kahuna tree.  See if you can spot the face.

Hiking with Daddy.

Showing off her rambutan fruit that she picked at the orchard.  It's almost like a lychee mixed with a grape.

A baby pineapple. We learned that it takes 2.5 years for a pineapple to grow!

Outside our hotel room before dinner.

Island (read: cocktail) inspired goofiness.
After our plantation train ride, hike & tour Lils took a rest (though not a nap) and then asked to go to the beach. We thought she'd be frightened of the waves but instead she wanted to stand in the surf FOREVER!  She was in heaven, squealing "a big one" every time a large wave came.  I can't wait to take her back tomorrow.  We had a great dinner with Kathy & Marc at Casa de Amici.  Unfortunately, we have to take them to the airport tomorrow afternoon.  :(
