Kauai- Day Seven

Today was our North Shore exploration day.
Kilauea Lighthouse.

Daddy & Lily in front of the lighthouse.

Now it's Lily & Mommy's turn.

Lils at Kilauea Bakery & Pau Hana Pizza.

We spent most of the afternoon at Ke'e Beach at Ha'ena State Park.

It was, in a word, Paradise.

Lils had a blast running around in the surf.

She got quite bold!

Matt took on Lily duty for most of our time at the beach so I was able to relax in the shade for a bit.

Lils did not want to leave the beach.  She kept telling us "I need to go in the ocean."

The dry tunnel across from the beach.  There was a wet tunnel a few hundred yards West but it was scary and slippery with no parking available so I didn't take a picture.

A vista point in Princeville.

Matt chillin' at the Westin Princeville condominiums where we met up with a colleague and his family for dinner.
Tomorrow is another do-nothing day.  It promises to be my best birthday ever!  It's hard to top my 21st, when Matt took me to IHOP, the Santa Barbara Zoo, Marcello Ristorante AND Disneyland but if anything can do it, Kauai can.
