So I was planning on doing some live blogging from the backyard today but as it turns out, our internet connection doesn't reach that far! Plan foiled. :(
But here's an adorable photo of Lily and Grandpa Tom in the pool. Lils is such a little fishy. Her legs kick like crazy and she really loves the water. She especially loves the shallow step where her feet touch the bottom and she can "walk" unassisted by me (the floaty keeps her upright). I think it makes her feel like a big girl.
Lily is just like that poor character on The Simpsons: "I sleep in a drawer."
Playing...
...and searching for more good stuff to play with.
Daddy Bear and Baby Bear.
Lily is so proud of herself when she stands in the pack 'n play.
She's gotten really good at eating Cheerios but one slipped by her yesterday morning. When I showed her the box of Cheerios, she got really excited. I think this is her first case of brand recognition. Hopefully, she won't start demanding only name brand things.
Getting a tickle from Grandpa after breakfast.
I tried to get Lily to pose next to the beautiful lilies that Jade and Ryan sent me for Mothers' Day but she would not oblige me. Still, the flowers are so gorgeous I had to post this photo.

Last night, Brian, my Dad, Matt and I went to the A's/Angels game in Anaheim. We had dugout suite seats, which are pretty much the most awesome thing ever.
We were so close to home plate...
... and even closer to the batter's box. Unfortunately the A's sent out the worst line-up in the history of the club (seriously; Matt confirmed this through statistical wizardry after the game) and they lost. But we still had a great time watching from that vantage point. And even though Eric Chavez sucks now, it was still really cool to see him up close during batting practice.

After a day of hanging out, Matt and I just picked up some brats and various salads for dinner. I can't wait!
