We had a very nice little weekend. We had a pretty chill Friday night and then Saturday night we met up with some friends to try DMK, a new burger joint. Lily had on her cutest spotted pajamas in the hopes that she'd fall asleep in her stroller. She didn't abide but she was an angel all night and didn't cry one bit.
We were able to watch the Superbowl with friends too but Lily and I left at half time since it was past her bedtime. Lily and Caroline had another little play date at the Superbowl party. Caroline is still too little to recognize Lily but Lily definitely noticed Caroline. When Grant held Caroline next to Lily, Lily reached out to touch her and gave her the up and down.
Also, my mission to find the girls matching clothes was completed. I found adorable cherry-print dresses in sizes 3 months and 9 months for the girls to wear once the weather warms up.
This morning, Lily was too big for her pink overalls so we paired her floral blouse with some blue jeans. Lily was not in her usual fun mood this morning.

As I told her in the car, we're all entitled to our grumpy days. But apparently her mood improved once we dropped her off at daycare because her daily "report card" detailed lots of smile time with her friends. She had tummy time with Elizabeth (the teachers place them on their tummies facing each other so they can smile at each other) and played in the exersaucer. The babies also had a special activity: playing with cheerios in the activity table! The teachers made sure Lily didn't touch the cheerios but she did stand at the table with the rest of the kids. I really wish that we'd been able to see her standing with all the "big kids", playing. I imagine her being so proud to stand up with her friends.
As usual, she was bathed and asleep within 30 minutes of getting home since she only slept 30 minutes the whole day.
