Bathtime yesterday. We had to give Lily a bath in the afternoon rather than the evening because after her 2nd explosive clothing-destroying poop of the day, we figured she needed an industrial strength cleansing rather than just a wipe-down. I had to take a photo of her in this stretchie because she's almost outgrown it. It's one of my favorites so I'll be very sad when it doesn't fit anymore.
Matt, Lily and I went for a nice stroll last night. Since she seemed to be pretty calm, we dropped into a new Mexican food restaurant nearby. Before we could even get our water and menus, she quickly flipped her switch to freak out mode. With the whole restaurant immediately focused on us and our screaming baby, we decided to get out while we could. So instead of a nice Mexican meal we ended up with takeout Flub a Dub Chubs. You really can't beat their cheeseburger on a pretzel roll!
Today has been up and down. Lily's been happy and got even happier when we put her in her new high chair (photos to come). She took a turn for the worse when she went down for her afternoon nap and couldn't get to sleep because of teething pain. She was writhing in her crib and trying to get her fingers and her paci in her mouth at once. Even once she fell asleep, she was still moaning. We gave her some infant Tylenol and that seems to have helped her get to sleep.
